Speech and Debate

I was a part-time speech and debate coach for 9 years. I mentored and led high school students while teaching them public speaking and acting skills. Throughout the year, they conceptualized and created performances which they brought to tournaments every weekend in the hopes of sharing their message, winning some trophies, and making an intellectual and emotional impact on their audiences.

I was an assistant coach with the Ridge High School team.

They’ve won the New Jersey State Championship for 21 consecutive years and are ranked as one of the top high school programs in the nation.
